Support NAYC today Our aim at NAYC & ACUK is to release potential every person who walks through our doors. We own two purpose built activity centres, situated in the Midlands of England, not far from Birmingham. The Pioneer Centre is located in rural Shropshire, near Kidderminster and offers a real taste of the outdoors, it is often described as a home away from home because of our fantastic staff team and peaceful surroundings. As well as our adrenaline fueled outdoor activities, there are also plenty of opportunities to experience the natural environment by learning about local wildlife and plant life. Our second centre is located in Staffordshire, near Lichfield, and is known as Whitemoor Lakes. Whitemoor Lakes is the perfect escape; the whole site looks on to our picturesque lake and surrounding farmlands. As it’s situated just off the A38, opposite the National Memorial Arboretum, it is incredibly easy to access whether for a weekend youth getaway or a week long residential. Find out more about our centres: Pioneer Centre Whitemoor Lakes Choose your activities Find your nearest centre Location Our centres are popular with school groups, youth groups charities and faith groups but we have also hosted events for the NHS and Staffordshire County Council. Both centres are within an hours drive from Birmingham and are situated in a prime location to welcome groups from across the UK. We have groups visit us from Birmingham, London, Manchester, Wales and Scotland to name a few. We are only a short distance from a host of international airports which makes us a good choice for the European and American groups we welcome to our centres. Find Out More Groups Whatever the purpose of your stay whether a school residential, youth getaway, team-building event or conference we aim to create a place full of opportunity to build new friendships, overcome fears and learn new skills. For many young people coming to one of our activity centres is the highlight of their year, that’s why our team work hard to make every guest feel welcome and ensure they have a comfortable stay. Find Out More Facilities We have a variety of different spaces suitable for intimate gatherings or large events. This includes social spaces with pool and table tennis tables, large halls that work well for youth events or conferences, private lodge lounges that can be used for movie nights, sports hall and smaller breakout rooms perfect for revision sessions or prayer groups. With both Pioneer and Whitemoor Lakes accommodating over 300 guests are centres are a good fit for events of all scales. All our rooms are ensuite and dormitories are kept to a maximum of eight to ensure maximum comfort for our groups. Our sites are fully catered by our team of expert chefs who create great quality meals for all our guests. They are excellent at catering for guests with dietary requirements and ensure sites are all nut free.
